Great Reiki News!

Did you know that the Veterans Administration nationwide has a model for the use of “alternative therapies” in veterans’ programs? In consideration of their Plane Tree Model, the Kerrville, TX, Veterans Administration has approved Reiki I training with Reiki Master Anne Schneider for its VA staff members. The first two staff members from the Kerrville VA attended their training at Anne’s March 2011 workshop and now are sharing their practice of Reiki’s healing energy with Kerrville veterans. We salute the VA for its recognition of the value of Reiki and for its funding of training for staff members. Spring & Summer Fun

I hope some of you have the chance to attend local health, wellness, and fitness fairs or festivals this spring and summer. They can provide a great opportunity to sample the many useful tools available for supporting your wellness. Attend these events, ask questions, receive demos, and seek out qualified practitioners in your area. Look for a Reiki booth and get to know the festival’s participant…find out about Reiki training they received and what their Reiki lineage is – their answers will make an important difference in YOUR experience of Reiki!
